Final Year Capstone Projects

Participants:

5 teams, 30 students, 7 teachers, 3rd-year engineering.

Data collection:

Anonymous questionnaire + interviews.

Type of work:

Concept-space was used as the primary tool to co-develop the design project. This includes gathering and understanding client needs, developing engineering requirements, creating and analyzing concepts, and converging to decide on a final solution.

Results:

There is a general agreement that concept-space helped support design thinking and collaboration.
